Feelings

Meanwhile, in the hospital…

        “I’ll ask you once more…Is Chidori your real name?” Mitsuru said asking the girl about her name but no word’s coming out of her mouth. “What kind of organization is Strega? Are there others besides you three?”

        “….” The girl silent

        “*sigh*” Mitsuru sighed

        “Hey wait, Junpei!” Yukari said making a fuss outside “You’re not supposed to be here, remember!?”

       

        Suddenly the door slide open, Junpei charged in to the door to see Chidori.

        “Chidori…!” Junpei yelled

        “Junpei! Uh…Sorry, he wouldn’t stop bugging me about this place…” Yukari said trying to stop him

        “How are you feeling?...Seems like you’ve calmed down.” Junpei said asking Chidori but she still keep her mouth shut

        “She certainly has. In fact, she won’t say a word. Maybe we should confiscate her sketchbook too.” Mitsuru feels annoyed being ignore by her question

        “Hey, come on… What good would that do?” Junpei replied feeling irritated “That won’t make her talk!”

         “I’m not so sure about that. She was quite upset when we took her evoker. Speaking of which…Where did you get that?” Mitsuru said feels raged but tried to calm down

         “Medea…” Chidori murmured “Give it back to me! I want her back!!”

         “Hey, I told you not to bring that up, didn’t I!?” Akihiko replied with an angry voice

         “Then, what am I supposed to do!? *sigh* I’ll have someone else try next time.” Mitsuru finally burst out with anger

         “Why…? Why did you take it from me…? Medea…” Chidori murmured

         “Yukari…call a nurse. We’re done for today. I’ll inform Ikutsuki-san about the difficulties.” Akihiko said telling Yukari to call the nurse

         “Oh…okay” Yukari nodded

         “Chidori…” Junpei, feels sorry for Chidori

                                                                  *******

          At the dorm, Aigis, me and Aria are at the lounge watching TV together. Fuuka is in her room doing homework. Ken is upstairs reading a book. Koromaru is sleeping and Shinjiro-senpai is…..sitting far away from us. Man, that guy sometimes weird. Why you put a wall between your friends. I don’t get it…

          “*sigh* So tired and bored today…”Aria sighed while stretching her arms. “I think I go to my room and take a nap.”

          “Oh okay then, have a nice nap.” I said

          “Ah~ Aigis there you are. I need your help with my history homework. Could you help me?” Fuuka said running downstairs to fetch Aigis

          “Understood, Minako-san you too need a nice rest so that you won’t feel tired tomorrow at school.” Aigis said telling to take some rest

          “It’s alright…I’m fine. Beside I need to go somewhere at Paulownia Mall. It’s my turn to do groceries.” I said smiling to Fuuka and Aigis

          “Oh~ I’m sorry Minako-chan I’m really busy with my homework and also I need to borrow Aigis too.  I’m really sorry…” Fuuka replied apologetic

          “No no, it’s fine. You can borrow Aigis. I can go alone to the supermarket.” I smiled

          “Well okay then, be careful. It’s gonna get dark soon. Let’s go Aigis” Fuuka said, both of them went upstairs

          *sigh* well I don’t like do groceries. But I need to buy something for my lunchbox tomorrow. Hmm…maybe I should make some lunchbox for everyone too. Yeah let’s do that. Oh! also some dog food for Koromaru too. Hahaha…with my money I gain during Tartarus and during my work time on my summer vacation. I can finally buy some snacks for myself to eat!

         “Hey…”Shinjiro said suddenly appear in front of me

         “Uhh…yes…senpai?” I said he surprised me for suddenly pop in front of me

         “You’re going to the supermarket right? I’ll go with you.” He said looks away embarrassed

         “Ah…sure!” I said smiled with joy. This really unusual for him

        Well then, the both of us walked together to Paulownia Mall supermarket. We didn’t talk much while we were on our way there but when we inside the supermarket. Both of us started too argued about what to get and what not to get. He said I can’t have sweet things but I love sweet things dammit! *pout* I don’t care I will have my sweet and sour candy no matter what! 

 

        In my cart, there’s fish, chicken drummet, some ingredients to make fried rice with omelet, some orange juices, milk, vegetables, octopus and many more. I will wake up early tomorrow to make lunchbox for everyone. Also, of course my sweet and sour candy, I didn’t put it in the cart because I know senpai will took it and put it back.

       “Didn’t I say not to take that?” Shinjiro said glare at me

       “Hmph! I don’t’ care…when it comes to sweet and sour candy, I will have it no matter what. It’s been my favorite candy since I was little.” I said pouting

       “But, it’s not good if you always eat it at night!” He said trying to snatched away my candy

       “I’m already used to it…so don’t worry” I said still refusing not to let go of my sweets

       “*sigh* it’s your call…don’t regret if you have cavities someday.” He said suddenly walk away pushing the cart to the counter

       “ Hmph! I won’t” I said 

        We both take out all of our groceries out of the cart and put it to the counter. Shinjiro-senpai said he will be paying all of it. He said I don’t need to take out my purse to pay all. Only pays the sweet, man sometimes his cruel. But it’s kind of unusual for him to be like this. His being nice and caring for some reason. Is this the real Shinjiro Aragaki?

        “Hm? It’s already dark…” Shinjiro said looking at the sky after we’re out of the Paulownia Mall.

        “Waa~ yeah…how long have we been inside the supermarket?” I said surprised 

        “Well we’ve been arguing like a lil kid’s. Time flies by so fast if you having fun.” Shinjiro rubbing his head “Anyway, are you okay caring that? I can carry it for you if you want?”

        “Ah~ no no! it’s fine I can carry it” I replied smiling

        “Well alright, let’s get back home. Everyone might worry about you.” He said leading the way to the front

        Well, his really being his different self. Now, that I think about it… why did he come along with me to groceries store? Is it because he worries about me for going back home late? That senpai really mysterious *giggle*. I’m so happy to be able to see the real Shinjiro-senpai. *smile*. When we got back home, the others were back and saw Shinjiro and me doing groceries. Fuuka and Aria quickly grab the plastics bag and put it in the kitchen. Took out all the items and put it where it belongs. Shinjiro-senpai then went back to his room to get some rest. I quickly calling out to him and bow to him, thanking him for accompany me to the store and help me with the groceries. He smiled, pats my head and went straight to his room.

          I feel so happy I am able to talk to him and quarrel with him. It was funny when he has to gives up just so the quarrel’s end. Maybe, tomorrow I should ask him out? *giggle*

          Meanwhile, inside Shinjiro’s room, Shinjiro is laying down on his trying to get some sleep.

          “*sigh* I couldn’t sleep…every time I closed my eyes. That girl keeps popping into my head. When I see her smile…my heart beats so fast. I even embarrassed when I’m around her. But just now, I feel happy to be with her…*sigh* stop thinking Shinjiro…Let’s get some sleep…” He said finally asleep

         The next day, I wake up early then everyone else. I slowly went downstairs after put on school gear. I don’t want to ruin the surprised right? *giggle*. After that, once I reached the kitchen, I quickly put on the apron and start cooking. I already prepared their lunch box on the table. There’s me, Yukari, Aria, Fuuka, Mitsuru, Akihiko, Ken, Junpei and also for Chidori. She must be hungry *smiled*. Also, I should make breakfast for senpai and Koromaru. I’m making omelet role, sweet sour fish, veggies, rice and grilled beef. I hope everyone will get surprise on what I do. But…I sure is wake up to early…haha…I just hope Pharos doesn’t sneak up on—

  

        “Minako…” said the familiar voice coming from behind me

        “*gasp*…Who-whose…there?” I said slowly turn my head toward the voice. It was Junpei… “*sigh* dammit Junpei don’t sneak up on me like that”

        “I’m the one who should be scared…seeing someone in the kitchen cooking.” He replied

        “Man my heart stops just now…” I said still can feel my heart beating fast “Forget it, what are you doing this early in the morning?”

        “Uh…I-I can’t sleep today…so I thought maybe I should wake up early and watch some TV first.” He replied somewhat feeling down “What did you put inside the lunchbox?”

        “It’s a secret~” I said smiling while closing the lunchbox not giving Junpei a peek “You won’t tell yours…I won’t tell mine”

        “….” He silent

        “It’s about Chidori… right?” I said washing all the plates

        “How did…” Junpei looked surprise

        “You’re too obvious Junpei…anyone can tell. But, I won’t force you to talk…It’s up to you if you want to share it or not.” I said still washing the plates

        “…I…met her last month…before the operation. I…always visit her when I saw her at port island station. She just sits at the bench…drawing…I dunno what drives me wanted to talk to her, but she was really sweet and nice that time. I saw one of her drawings it was really beautiful. She even laughs one of my stupid jokes. When she smiled, I feel something warm inside and my heart started to beat so fast.” Junpei said finally open his mouth about Chidori

         *giggle* just like me when I see senpai smile. I feel the warmth inside me whenever I see his smile. If only he can smile like that always…

        “But…then…” Junpei continues “She’s being silent and not even want to talk…not even me…I was afraid…I’m going to lose her. I’ve been think negative thoughts like…what if she won’t call out my name anymore? What if she hates me because we took her evoker? I’ve been thinking about her all day…I dunno what to do…I just want to be able to talk to her again and see her smile…”

        “Junpei…” I said seeing Junpei face whom about to cry “Come on, don’t be sad like it’s going to be the end of the world…Don’t give up. I can tell that you really like Chidori…Junpei.”

        “Minako…” he said

        “What? Am I wrong saying you love her?” I said smiling while putting back the apron where it belongs “Look Junpei…I can’t help you by getting you guys together again but…I can only give advice to help you out. Don’t give up on her Junpei, I dunno what happen yesterday but…girls hate when they’ve been left alone. They want someone to be right beside her to accompany her. So as for Chidori, I think all you have to do is just be by her side. Be someone that she can rely on, that she can feel less alone. Like she said she wants her evoker back so her Medea can be right beside her. So, Junpei don’t give up on her. Trust me, she will always expecting you every day.”

        I said after giving a warm speech to make him happy again. But instead of a smile, tears started to flow from his eyes. He feels like a big heavy burden has been lifted from his body. He cried of joyness.

        “Isk…Minako!! Thank you! You’ve been such a great pal. I’m sorry I treated you badly when you became the leader! I was jealous but you still being nice to me…you’re a great friend I have. Isk! Thank you! Thank you for always supporting me.” He said rubbing his watery eyes

       “Come on…you look even dumber when you cry.” I said teasing him “Anyway, here! Make sure this lunchbox is empty when you get back home.”

       “Why…there’s two?” Junpei suddenly curious

       “What can’t you tell? One is for you and the other one is for your girlfriend to be” I said putting the lunchbox at the reception desk and put names on the lunchbox. “I made omelet role, rice, grilled beef, veggies and sweet and sour fish. I wake up early cause doing everyone’s lunchbox. I was about to give it as a surprise but you’re the first one to get the surprised. Hope you like it once you eat it. Also don’t worry about her lunchbox, I didn’t put anything that is poisonous.”

       “It looks delicious…” Junpei said opening the lunchbox that I made.

      

       I laugh suddenly one by one heading downstairs to get ready to go to school. They saw a lunchbox at the reception desk and ask me who make the lunchbox. Junpei then quickly answered it was me who cook it. Everyone was surprised because it’s their first time seeing me cook. They say thank you and quickly grab their lunchboxes. Aria was so happy to be able to eat one of my cooking. All of them were especially senpai. He secretly smiles at me at the dining table where I prepared food for him and Koromaru to eat. Koromaru bark with happiness when he started eating his food. Everyone laugh with happiness. 

       Suddenly, I feel sad whenever I see them laugh and smile for some reason. It’s the same feeling I had when I was in Yakushima. I wonder what is this feeling? Why is it so pain?....

       I saw her future again…

     “Eithodea?” Aria answered

     It’s...the same as the previous but…

    “What’s wrong?”

    “*gasp*” Aria suddenly gasp and fell to the ground

    “Aria!” I said quickly ran towards her “Hey!? What’s wrong? Hey!”

    “….I-I I’m fine…just a bit tired…that’s all…” Aria said seeing her body shivers

    “Are you sure? You’re shivering?” I said worried

    “Maybe you should rest for today, Tsukishima” Mitsuru said suggesting her to rest

    “I’ll take her to room” Akihiko suggested carrying her back to her room

    Aria…what just happen…

                                                                   ********

Meanwhile…

      

     “Who was…that…? Why I’m suddenly felt fear…? I know that voice isn’t Eithodea’s voice…it was something that terrifying…I can’t stop shivering…” Aria whispered in her heart

     “Are you sure you okay? You want me to take you to the hospital?” Akihiko said after laying her on her bed

     “I’m…fine…” Aria replied with a low voice

     “….alright then. Anything just give me a call…” Akihiko said still worrying about Aria then suddenly Aria grab Akihiko’s hand make him turn his head towards Aria

     “I’m…I’m…scared…” Aria suddenly crying with no reason “Senpai…I’m scared…”

  

     Akihiko eyes widened making his body automatically sitting beside Aria and embraced her while her body still shivering.

    “Isk…senpai….” Aria said tightly embraced him

    “It’s..okay, I’m here…”Akihiko replied “Aria…What gave you shiver’s like this…?” Akihiko whispered in his heart…
