Reina
POV
*In
a Dream?*
I
open my eyes and realize I was at someplace bright. The place was really empty,
bright and I was all alone there. Then I heard someone called my name…
Reina…
“Whose
there?” I said look around to see if there anyone else rather than me
“You
idiot…” I startled because of the voice and look behind me. I saw a girl with
long light purple hair just like mine and her eyes are bright red with a fierce
look. “Well?”
“H-Huh?”
I said confused
“Don’t
you have to say thank you to me?” She said while she folding her arms
“For
what?” I replied. Seriously what is she talking about?
“Great…well
I can’t blame you for forgetting me and forgets that I save you just now. But
at least you’re alright…also congrats on getting your voice back” She smile.
Now that she mentions it….I can hear voice….
“But
how did my voice…” I said touches my lips
“Because
you want too…you want to call out his name..” She said
“His
name?” I said looking at her smiling. His name…..? I think thoroughly and I
remembered that night where….I see…now I remembered. I grip my hand to my chest
“I
see you remembered…that night, you were in your room lying on the bed thinking
about him. Then suddenly, your stepfather came into you’re room. He was drunk
and he was about to do awful things to you. You were crying and struggling from
him. You can’t scream, you can’t get help…you mumble in your heart. Screaming
for help and hoping if someone can hear your sorrowful and lonely heart. Then,
an image of a boy, stand in front of you and handed you his hand. The boy was…”
I cut her off and said
“Jeff…”
I grip my hand tightly and smile
“That’s
right…that boy…save you from the bottomless pit of your own darkness. He didn’t
cure your voice but rather he save your soul from the darkness. You didn’t lose
your voice due to scream or being tortured by your own mother Reina. You
yourself wish to lock away all your feelings…your emotion…and your voice. You
send your own soul to the bottom of your own darkness. You said…”
“I don’t want this
feelings…I don’t need emotion…I don’t need my voice…because…no one will come…no
one will give comfort…no one will be listening to my voice…therefore…I will
locked away this emotions, this feelings and this voice in the bottomless pits
of my own darkness…I will feel alone and sorrowful until the day my life will
end….”
“For
2 years, you live a heart which fills with sorrow and darkness. Even so you
laugh, you smile or feeling happy in the outside…but in the inside you were
slowly being swallowed by darkness. Until that day, you felt a warm feeling
inside you. A feeling of being loved, care, happy, shy and being protected. The
feelings and emotion that you lock away inside your heart are starting to bloom
and start to shine you away from darkness. It happen when you found the boy." She said
My
eyes widened on what the girl said. Everything she said is the truth. Yes, I
did feel that in my heart. I did say those words because of my father’s death
and the day my mother tortured me. Because, I was alone…I needed someone to
hear my cries and I needed someone to hold me closed just like what my Dad did
to me when I needed him the most. But when my Dad died, that’s when I decide to
lock away my feelings, emotion and my voice. Because there will be no one come
to comfort me, to hold me or to hear my cries. But, now…I won’t be alone
anymore because….I have him…on my side and always love me…*warm smile*
“But
I do have to apologize…” She said start to feel apologetic
“And
why is that?” I replied
“After
you recovered your voice and called for Jeff, Macy came to you, trying to save
you. While she caught your stepfather attention, I kind of take control of your
body and start to hit and smash your stepfather until his dead with a metal bat
that you put in your closet. That’s why…you were covered in blood and seeing
the corpse when you realize it.” She said bowing
“I
see…now I understand why you said I need to say thank you to you. I’m sorry for
my late response and thank you for saving me.” I said bow to her
“It’s
what I have to do Reina, because I’m you and you’re me but different
personalities.” She said smiling
“Different
personalities?” I asked while my eyes widened
“Yes…let’s
just say, I’m the opposite you. Things you can’t do, I can do it. But things I can’t
do, you can do it. Like for example, you have not experienced in battle but I
do. I don’t have experience in cooking but you do.” She said and laugh
“I
see, that’s explained how you know my name. But do you have a name…me?” I
said
“Ermm…no.
I just use your name only.” She said
“Well,
why don’t I give you a name? So that I won’t get confused. Hahaha” I laughed
“Sure
go ahead!” She said give me the chance giving her name
“Hmm…let’s
see…how about Rose…no…ermmm…Lily…no….” I said mumbled to myself while she observes
me than I shouted “Ah! I know! Melody!”
“Melody?”
She said
“Yes!
It’s just pop out of my head. Melody Winter. It’s a really nice name ryte?” I
said smiling happily
“Melody
Winter…” She mumbled “Yeah…it is..” smiled
I
laughed happily and so as Melody. Then suddenly she stop..
“Oh
shoot! I think you need to go. You can’t stay here much longer. I already kept
you here long enough.” She said
“Huh?”
I said when I looked at my hands they started to disappeared “Wait Melody!!”
“Don’t
worry Reina. You’re just going back to your world and I will always look after
for you but don’t forget about me okay. You’re journey as the heir of the white
wizard has begun.” She said with a smile and watched me disappeared into the
air
*back
to the world*
I
open my eyes and start to look around. I’m…in a room. So…was it a dream? No…I
don’t think so…because…
“I
can feel her…in me…thank you Melody…” I said and happy to hear my voice again.
Then when I want to lift up my left hand, I can feel a warm grasp on my left
hand. I look at it and saw him grasping my left hand and not letting go while
his asleep.
“Jeff....”I
whispered with a warm smile on my face. I touch his hair and rub it slowly.
Then he slowly opened his eyes, when he lifted his head, he saw me
surprisingly. Tears start to flow from his eyes
“Reina…y-you’re
awake!.” He shouted and hugged me to his arms “You’re awake! I’m glad…I was so
worried!”
“I
missed you Jeff…” I said hugging him back
“I
missed you too..” He whispered to my ear. I’m really glad his here…with me. “…that boy saved you from your own darkness”
“Jeff…thank
you, for saving me and always be there for me. I’m glad I met you and I love
you…” I said closing my eyes and cried happily while hugging him
“I
love you too and always…” He released me and his lips touches mine gently…
*Awww!! <3 <3 Hhhahaha. Also Wow I post about 4 story! Hahaha sorry folks. Due to my sickness.. I'm just tired! hahah Have fun reading! :D
