The next day…
“*knock* *knock* Minako…you up?” I said
knocking the door of her door
“Yeah…let’s go…” Minako said open the
door and closed it
Both of us went to school together, I
insisted that we should go to school together…I’m worried. We walk together but
Minako didn’t open her mouth. I started a convensation…
“Hey what you gonna eat for today?” I
asked cheerfully
“Nothing…” she replied with no emotion
showing on her face only emptiness
“Nothing!? B-But…aren’t you hungry?” I
replied surprisingly
“I’m not hungry….” She said glare
“O-okay…” I replied and became quiet
all the way.
After we arrived at school, I parted
with Minako saying a fake reason. The true reason I ask to go to school
together with her because it was Mitsuru-senpai and other’s wish. But when I
arrived to the meeting point, I only saw Mitsuru-senpai and Fuuka there.
“Where are the others?” I question
“I don’t want to make a commotion here
up in the roof. I told them only me and Yamagishi will be meeting you here.
Besides, everyone still in shock but not that critical as our leader.” Mitsuru
replied folding her arm to her body.
“How is she Aria…?” Fuuka said looking
straight to me
“Not good…” I replied looking down
towards my feet “Her eyes…shows nothing but emptiness…it’s like there was no
soul inside of her...”
“Minako-chan…” Fuuka said grips her hand
towards her chest
“*sigh* It’s all my fault…if only I
remembered the day of Amada’s mother death…Shinjiro won’t be suffering a coma
now and Arisato won’t be suffering like this…” Mitsuru said blaming this to
herself
“Mitsuru-senpai…please don’t talk like
that. It’s not your fault…if we were known about it. Who’s going to kill the
shadow? “I said telling that this isn’t her fault
Everyone became silent for a short while…
“Tsukishima…I need you to always be by her
side. Try to wake her…” Mitsuru said assign me to take care of Minako.
“I understand senpai…” I nodded then I
remembered Akihiko-senpai “Wait senpai, is…Akihiko-senpai ok?”
“I’m not that worry of Akihiko…you know him
too right?” Mitsuru smiled “Akihiko…will be okay. Don’t worry, give him time”
As I see Mitsuru-senpai confidence smile,
I nodded and smile back to her. Like she said Akihiko-senpai will be alright…I
know he can pull it through and I know he will not give up and keep believing
Shinjiro-senpai returned. Akihiko-senpai is strong…*smile*
After that, the three of us returned to
our class. While in the class, I secretly look Minako who’s sitting beside me.
Like always, her eyes are full of emptiness. Yesterday, we manage to send
Shinjiro-senpai to the hospital. The doctor operates him to pull out the bullet
inside him. While waiting for the operation, Minako were sitting on the chair
with Yukari and Fuuka beside her. When I looked at her closely, her eyes
changed…it was an eye fill with anger and revenge. It’s different from the one
I see now…I hope she won’t do anything that will let her regret.
Then, we waited for a few hours, the
doctor said he already remove the bullet and stop the blood. But the doctor
said he fall into a coma. He also said there are 50% chance Shinjiro-senpai
will regain conscious again and 50% chance he will die. All of us were shocked
and no one said a word after we got back especially Minako. I can’t help myself
holding the pain seeing her emotionless…it’s the first time I see her like this.
Mother…tell me will I able to save her from the pit of darkness that consume
her heart right now? Will I able to save her?

Meanwhile, in Shinjiro’s room at Tatsumi
Memorial Hospital. Shinjiro is lying emotionlessly, connected to various
machines. The mechanical sounds from the medical equipment are the only signs
that Shinjiro is alive. A figure glared at the “No Visitors Allowed” sign
entered the room.
“Yo, you look pretty good. So how long
are you gonna lie around sleeping there?” Akihiko said sit beside Shinjiro
greeting him. “I had the usual for lunch…Ramen tastes a lot better when you’re
cutting class. Make sure you invite me next time.”
Akihiko stop and stared at Shinjiro who is
still sleeping in his slumber. Not moving…
“Say something, will ya…? Why are you
always like that? You’re so stubborn…” He said his face turn to sorrow “Put
yourself in my shoes for a change…You think it’s the other way around, huh? I
guess you right…I’ve to obsessed with power. Ever since I lost Miki, that’s all
I’ve been cared about…I thought that if I was strong enough, I could protect anyone…”
Akihiko eyes suddenly gets watery and
his tears running from through his cheek…
“Protecting everyone…including you,
Minako and Aria…but I was wrong…I couldn’t protect you! And I couldn’t keep my
vow to Minako too…I promised her I will make her happy always and never let her
cry…but now…if only…if only I saved you sooner you won’t get into this
situation and Minako wouldn’t be crying and sad because of this!” He said
collapsed on Shinjiro’s bed “Please Shinji…don’t leave me, Minako and
others…please. I don’t know what I will do if you leave. Please…you can hear
me, can’t you!? Wake up…! Snap out of it…! Shinji…! *sob*”
Akihiko cried with all his
heart…Eventually, Akihiko stood up…
“…Yeah, I know…Crying won’t change anything,
will it…” Akihiko said coming to his realization and his resolution “You watch
from here. I still have things to do, right?”
Suddenly a blue light surround the room,
Akihiko persona Polydeuces appeared before him. The resolution in Akihiko’s heart
has awakened a new persona. Polydeuces has given rise to Caesar!
“I know that much. I can’t carry this
guilt forever…I’m getting tired of it. I will keep moving and keep on
protecting everyone. I will take good care of Minako, Ken, Aria and the other’s
for you. I know you will come back to us…so please hang in there Shinji. Minako
I will save her and make her waiting for your return. So please fight..!”
Akihiko said her expression has changed and walk out from Shinjiro’s room.

Meanwhile, in the evening at the dorm
lounge, everyone has been summoned by Mitsuru after school just now. Everyone
knows what’s it’s about…It’s about Ken. I thought I can run from this meeting
but I’ve been drag. So I have no choice to stick around. Aria sit beside me…
“You all know the reason we’re gathered
here. We need to discuss how to deal with Amada…I’ve already consulted the
chairman.” Mitsuru said telling everyone the reason “Aigis, bring Amada here”
“Understood.” Aigis nodded on her way to
pick up Amada
“It’s all my fault…When Shinjiro-senpai
told me he’d be late, I thought it was strange, but I said nothing. If only I’d
listened to my intuition…” Fuuka said blaming herself
“Don’t be so hard on yourself, Fuuka..”
Yukari replied
“It’s not everyone’s fault…” I said my
face looking down towards my hand
“Minako…” Aria grabbing my hand tightly
“I knew this wasn’t a game…But, I never
thought it’d end up like this..” Junpei said his face turn sad
Everyone felt the same feeling as I am
right now…feeling sad losing someone in the team, a friend that is precious to
him, someone that I’m happy to be with. Shinjiro-senpai…even I didn’t even saw
your current condition now…but in my dreams…I can see you lying on the bed
emotionlessly. Senpai…you idiot…so…this is what you meant by “You don’t have to
forgive me…but forgive everything else” haha…you idiot…
“There’s no point dwelling on the past.
Don’t you remember what Shinji said?” Akihiko stand up telling us not to think
about the past “This is how it should be… He was hell of
a guy…He even faced death head on. That’s why, from this day forward, I’ll face
things head on, too.”
“S-Senpai…” I murmured
“That’s cool, man…” Junpei replied
Everyone were silent…A few minutes later…
“Allow me to report! Amada-san is not in
his room!” Aigis run towards the lounge with the shocking news
“He’s not!?” Yukari surprised
“There are indications that the window has
been pried open.” Aigis reported
“Ken-kun…!” Fuuka shouted run towards the
door to find Ken
“Wait Fuuka! Do you know where he is?” Yukari
stopped her
“Well…no…but we can’t just let him go off
on his own, right!?” Fuuka yelled
“So, where do you plan on looking?” Yukari
questioned
“I don’t know, but we have to find him!”
Fuuka eagerly want to find him “He must feel so alone…”
“Fuuka…” I said stand up and look at Fuuka
“We need to calm down first and try to think where he could be. Beside we still
have time before the Dark Hour, if you go off alone aimlessly, you dunno when
will Strega attack you. Rememeber you are their target.”
“She’s right Fuuka…stay calm and think”
Yukari agreed
“But Ken-kun is still a kid! You of all
people should understand!” Fuuka shouted
“Tch!
Don’t make me—“ I said glare at Fuuka angrily. I was trying to give a peace of
my mind but Aria blocked me from doing so.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to…” Fuuka said
suddenly felt sorry of what she said
“Let Ken do what he wants. Bringing him
back won’t change anything…and we can’t keep treating him like a kid.” Akihiko interfered
“Akihiko…” Mitsuru murmured
“It’s his choice. He’s the only one who
can decide how he’s going to live his life. The same goes for all of us.”
Akihiko said pointing his eyes towards me.
I look away…avoiding eye contact from him.
He then leaves the lounge and went outside. His trying to make me realize being
sad and cried won’t help anything. But I can’t…this sorrow…I can’t help it!
This is the feeling when I lost both of my parents. I can’t help it…I lost
another person that I love so much…
Everyone then dismiss from our meeting, they
still thinking about Ken on their mind. Me and Aria leave the lounge and went
to our previous rooms. Aria said good night to me and smile. It’s really rare
for Aria not to talk to me much today. Well it is my fault for glaring at her
this morning. Once I entered my room, I walk towards the mirror…I can see the
emptiness in my eyes. This must be the same face I have when I was in shocked about
my parent’s death. I then changed my clothes to my pajamas and went to bed. I
stare at the ceiling, thinking about Shinjiro-senpai. Senpai…*sob* . Suddenly I
felt asleep…

Tuesday,
6th October dark hour…
“Step aside Aria! I don’t want to hurt you!”
Said the brown hair girl getting ready on her battle position
“I won’t! I can’t let you attack anyone
even our enemy! Wake up! You don’t want to do this!” Said the short blue hair
girl gripping her twin sword with her persona beside her
“I won’t let him live…I will kill him! I
won’t let him hurt one of our friends anymore! I’m going to make him suffer just
like what he did to senpai!” Shouted the brown hair girl her red eyes became
bright red “If you don’t step aside…then I have no choice to attack you.”
“Please! Don’t do this! You will only
feel regret! Listen to me! Please stop…Minako!” said the blue haired girl….
