After
a few months, we accomplish on saving Fuuka, killed 6 big bosses and also
finals. Hahahha, it’s getting even more tense and tiring. But I’m lucky that I
managed to do my best on exams. Mitsuru-senpai said if I get excellent grades.
She will give an awesome gift. I wonder what it is though. Hahahhaha can’t wait
for it!. There something else also, when we were trying to save Fuuka,
Akihiko-senpai noticed that when its full moon the shadow will appear. So now
we all know when will our next mission is. So, the only thing we have to do is
to get ready for another shadow encounter. Also I need to get myself even
stronger so that I can protect my friends. They are really precious to me.
This upcoming summer vacation, Ikutsuki
san gave us a break on our work for a while and go summer break in YAKUSHIMA!
Yahoo! It’s a dream come true! Finally I will have my rest. No more tension and
stress for a while. But…before our exam, Yukari was searching something about
the kirijo group. She insist that Mitsuru-senpai is hiding something from us.
So she ask Fuuka to get through the Kirijo group file and the result was…It was
the Kirijo group that make Tartarus and The Dark Hour exist. I was shocked, but
yet…all of it it’s the truth. Mitsuru-senpai told us the whole story about the
Kirijo group, about her grandfather evil scheme and about Yukari late father.
It was a shock for Yukari and for all of us too. But that was in the past, but
Yukari and Mitsuru-senpai are both so silent to each other. Hope both of them
are going to be okay.
Days have passed, 20th July 2009
Monday. They day where we go Ya-ku-shi-ma!! Yes the day has come! While
arriving there, the atmosphere is not what me, Fuuka and Junpei anticipated. It
was all gloomy. Poor Junpei, hope they all got their mood soon. Already arrive
in Yakushima, the first thing was The Beach, the sound of a relaxing wave, the
nice cold water. Ah this is life! But before that, have to put on my lotion and
my swim suit. Junpei and Akihiko went to the Beach first.
“Ahh..got my sandals on.. giving my
feet a chance to breathe. Yep! summer’s here!” Junpei said excited to be in
Yakushima
“Ugh, could he BE any louder” Yukari
said getting annoyed with Junpei’s action
“*giggle* well that’s him. His just
excited that we got a chances to get our day-off. Beside everyone’s happy too
right?” I said with a big smile on my face
“Well yeah your right” She said
agreed on what I said “But yikes, what’s with Akihiko-senpai swimsuit? I can
feel my face getting red just looking at it”
“Haha..I just knew Akihiko-senpai
will be wearing like that. I already
decide not to look. Hahha..” I said with and awkward laugh
Well Akihiko-senpai swimsuit is
sure weird. He tried to explain more details to Yukari chan but..Yukari stop
him from telling it into more details. But, for some reason Junpei acting all
weird.
“Hey Junpei, what wrong with you? You
look even dumber than usual.” Yukari said teasing him but what Yukari said is
all true as usual
“Maaaaan…talk about feast for the
eyes,haha” Junpei answered with a creepo tone “ Yuka-tan wearing a more
aggressive model that I had imagined. Could her boldness come from the
confidence that he club training has toned her bod!?”
“What!?” She said with an angry
face
“And check out our leader! She’s
one cute mermaid herself! Those curves she usually keeps covered up are lookin’
good! I can’t tear my eyes away!” He said continuingly judging our swimsuits
and body. He became a Pervert
“Haha…when did you became so
pervert Junpei?. Stop looking at me!” I said felt a bit embarrassed cuz of
Junpei.
“Maaaaannn this place is so great!
I love this place!” He said being such a pervert
Well that’s Junpei sometimes can be
stupei. He likes us girls wearing swimsuit. Well it is his first time seeing us
wearing. But he shouldn’t have being such a pervert. Fuuka swimsuit is so cute
it makes Junpei face really red. Hahaha she’s embarrassed with Junpei and feel
a bit uneasy around Junpei too. Well if I was her, I might do the same. But, wow
just wow. Mitsuru-senpai is so elegant and beautiful. She wears white swimsuit
with a rose on her left side of her shoulder. Her skin is really flawless and
white. Wow~ *giggle* this is the first time I see Mitsuru senpai shy.
“Psst, Aikihiko-senpai. Level with
me… Which one’s your type?” Junpei said whispering to Akihiko-senpai
“ermm….” Akihiko said whispering
with Junpei
“Huh!? Really!?” Junpei said
surprised
“K-Keep your voice down!” Akihiko
said
“Maaann,really? No joke?” Junpei
asked
“What are you two smirking about?”
Yukari interfered
“Uhhh..nothing.” Junpei said in an
odd way to speak
“Okaaayyy” Yukari replied
“Man! This is great! I’m in heaven!”
Junpei said crying with enjoyment “How’ bout a swim!? Buh buh buh bump ba
baaaa! Charge!”
“Whoa! I’m not letting you win that
easily!” Akihiko said follow Junpei to the ocean
“Hahahaha! Both of them are like
little kids! Cute~ *giggle*” I said smilling and laughing but suddenly I felt
an uneasy feeling is like someone was watching me. I look around but no one
here except the others. Then the feeling subsided.
“Hmm? what’s wrong Minako-chan?”
Fuuka said worrying
“Oh, It’s nothing. I just felt someone was watching me…” I said reply
still felt a bit awkward
“Well maybe it’s just your
imagination. Come on lets join them! Hahaha” Yukari said smilling and straight
to the ocean with Fuuka
“Yeah…sure” I replied decided to forget and
run straight to the ocean
After had fun splashing water to each
other, I got off from the water and take a sip of mineral water that
Akihiko-senpai brought. When I turned around and face the ocean, it’s surprised
me how the water glimmers on the ocean. The ocean is really blue, the sky is
blue it’s really a beautiful scene to watch. It’s like the scenery let you
forget about others or making you not to worry about things that will happen.
The sound of the ocean, I feel so calm. This kind of scenery always makes me
smile and calm. It be sad if the world disappear. I still remember the past
where I lost both of my parents. It gave a big impact to me. I dunno how they
died. I just know the day they died. Every time I want to remember, this hazy
picture always keep popping inside my head. But I couldn’t tell what it is
still hazy. The reason I decided to changed school and went to Gekkoukan High
School because I remember that my parents died somewhere in Port Island. I came
back here because I want to regain my lost memory of my parent’s death. But
every time I see them having fun. It makes me feel like I should forget my
purpose and have fun to this beautiful world. Move forward to the bright
future.
After the fun in the beach, Mitsuru
senpai father called us and gathered us at the Kirijo Yakushima mansion
reception room. Her father is a bit serious and scary looking guy. I just hope
I won’t get on his nerve. He began to speak.
“From what I understand, Mitsuru has
already given you the short version.” He said with a serious look
“Oh..yes.” Yukari replied
“Well it’s true..we adults are to
blame. If I could’ve atoned for it with my life, I would have done so. Now I have
no choice but to rely on you. What my father wanted to create with those
monsters’ power was a time manipulated device.” He said telling us all the
story of the Kirijo Group past
“That’s what he was trying to do?”
Mitsuru questioned
“Imagine if you could control the flow of
time…eliminate unwanted events before they occur. With such a device you could
shape the future to your liking” He said
“Damn that insane..” Junpei said a
bit surprised
“To shape the future to your
linking…” I said griping both of my hands tightly.
“However, under my father’s
direction, the research began to stray from its original goal. In his later
years, my father seemed to have only nihilism in his heart. Now that I think
about it, his madness may have resulted from his struggle to break free from
that…It’s only natural if u wanted to know to know the truth…and it’s my duty
to tell you.” He said taking a remote that make the screen to go down and a
clip was played.
Old footage is being played on the
large monitor on the room.
“What’s this..?” Akihiko ask
“This is the only existing footage
of the accident, recorded by a scientist who was at the scene.” Takeharu Kirijo
answered
“A video recording?” Mitsuru
question
“(Its looks like the scene of an
accident but..the video to poor I can’t see the man’s face clearly…)” I said
mumbling to myself
Suddenly an unknown voice speaking
“I pray that this recording reaches
safe hands…” He said
“That voice…!?” Yukari said
shocking hearing the man’s voice
Surprisingly, the man voice was Yukari’s
father. He recorded a tape of himself saying that one of his employees become
obsessed with their idea. He said that the experiment should not be conceived
and afraid on what his done might result unprecedented disaster. He said
something about the entire world might have paid the price. The shadows that
were amassed there have been dispersed as a result of the explosion. Dispersed?
Does he mean by the shadow that appear on the full moon?. So the only way to
end this is to eliminate all of them.
“I am to blame this. I knew the risk, but
I was blinded by the promise of success…and so I didn’t raise any
objections..It is all my fault…” He said with a clearer face began to show
“….!?” Yukari gasped with surprised and
shock
The man was visible on the screen for a
brief moment, but the video ended after a large explosion.
“..dad..” Yukari said
“You mean…that was your…?”Fuuka said
shocked on what Yukari said
“Yukari…” I said worried about her
Mitsuru father, telling us the man’s
name that appeared on the screen. So it is her father. He was the head
researcher at the time and a very talented man. Takeharu Kirijo said that
Yukari’s father’s death it’s for The Kirijo Group to blame. Yukari…she trust
his father that it wasn’t him who make the explosion. She trusted her father so
much. But after what she heard. She began to think that it was his father
caused it all. She think that Mitsuru hide it because she felt sorry for her.
She yelled at Mitsuru-senpai and ran straight out.
“Yukari…wait!!” I said calling her out
when she ran off
“*sigh* Minako..please go after her..”
Mitsuru said asking me to go after her
“I understand..” I answered and ran
straight out.
After a few minutes running, I found
Yukari. She standing at the beach with her sad face. It must be hard for her to
accept about it. Yukari…
“Hey…” I said standing beside her
trying to hear her thoughts
“Minako, remember what I told you at
the hospital? How my dad died when I was little..?” She asked her eyes are
about to get watery
“Yeah…I remember..” I answered
“You understand now right..? He died in
that incident. Nobody knew the truth, so there were all sorts of rumor. Because
he was in charge of the research team, people were really mean to me and my
mom…We even had to move a few times.” She said telling all her stories to make
her heart relieved.
“I’m sorry to hear that…It’s must’ve
been tough..” I said trying to say something to make her happy but I was afraid
to make my move
“But all this time, I kept telling
myself it wasn’t his fault. I loved him a lot, and I believed he’d never do
anything wrong. I received a letter back in the spring. It was from him.
Written ten years ago. It cracked me up cuz, even though it said “to my
family,” It was pretty much all about me. That letter made me believe in him
more..” She said gripping her hand tightly.
“Yukari…” I said in slow voice
“When I found out I had a special
power, I thought it was fate. I was scared, but I thought if I cooperated with
the Kirijo Group, I might find out what really happened. That’s why I agreed to
fight using my persona.But, it turns out..all of that was for nothing…” She
said her tears starting to flow.
“That’s not true Yukari!” I said
“Hahah, you’re just trying to make me
feel better. Why does reality have to be so harsh..? I tried so hard to fight
my fear, and this si what I get…Maybe I’m just jealous of Mitsuru-senpai. I
mean why my father and not hers..? Haha…I’m horrible person, aren’t I?” She
said tears still flowing to her chicks.
“No you’re not!” I said accidently
using a high tone
“Tch..stop acting like you have all
the answers!” She replied with an angry face and tone
“I don’t have all the answer and I
don’t know how you feel right now! But what I do know is that…I know how it
feels to a lost a parent! Both of them to be precise!” I said suddenly my heart
filled with anger.
“Ah…” She said with a shocked face “I’m
sorry..my head’s a mess. I’m so afraid..I don’t know what to do anymore…I’m
totally lost…Tell me…what should I do..?”
“Keep believing your dad” I said with
a smile. I know I made the right choices. Even though it was her father doing
it..but still it’s not his fault.
“You mean keep believing?” She said
“Yes..” I answered
“*smiles* I’m sorry for acting like
this. You’ve lost your parents, too. But, I’m alright now…I’m used to dealing
with stressful situations. Thnks..” She said back to her cheerful self
“It’s nothing.. when a friend get
into tight situation we have to do what we can to help right? I’m here to
listen to your troubles Yukari. You’re not alone. You have us. And we’ll always
be with you.” I said with a warm smile
She laughs like the usual Yukari I
know. Suddenly we heard Junpei calling for us. He was worrying. It almost the
Dark Hour so we have to get back to the mansion. On our way to the mansion, I
suddenly felt the same feeling again. Someone was watching me, so I hurriedly went back to the mansion with Junpei and Yukari.

The
next day, we all went to the beach together because today is our last day in
Yakushima. We bring along Aegis with us too. Starting today, she is part of
the SEES member. Aegis is an anti –shadow weapon that were created ten years
ago, to combat uncontrollable shadows. What Ikutsuki said, she is the last to be
made and was the only one that still remains till now. She capable on summoning
a persona named “Palladion”. Because she has suffered major damage, she been
stuck in the lab ever since. Though, I still a bit shy when she just came to me
and embraced me. She was the one who been watching me. She said her highest
priority is to be by my side. I asked why…but her answered was she doesn’t
know. Ikutsuki san said she must be having some lost memory. It takes time to
recover back her memory. Well, even so I dunno what she meant…I feel like I
will get to know why. And I can feel that it not going to be a good answer. Something
tells me I need to be ready when the times come.
